Automate Everything: Using Webhooks & Zapier with Monster Leaderboards
Unlock powerful automation by connecting Monster Leaderboards to thousands of apps using webhooks and Zapier. Whether you want instant alerts, real-time data syncing, or custom workflows, webhooks give you full control over what happens after a player registers.
What is a Webhook?
A webhook is a simple way for Monster Leaderboards to send real-time data to another system when something happens — like a player registering for your event.
Instead of exporting data manually, everything is sent instantly to your connected tools.
Use Zapier (No-Code Automation)
Zapier makes it easy to connect Monster Leaderboards to apps like Google Sheets, Slack, CRMs, and more — without writing code.
Step 1: Create a Catch Webhook in Zapier
Log in to your Zapier account
Click Create Zap
Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger
Select Catch Hook
Zapier will generate a unique Webhook URL
Copy this URL
This is the endpoint Monster Leaderboards will send data to.
Step 2: Add the Webhook in Monster Leaderboards
- Log in to your Monster Leaderboards account
- Go to Integrations → Webhooks
- Choose Zapier Webhook
- Paste your Zapier Webhook URL
- Save your settings
Now, every time a player registers, data will be sent directly to Zapier.
Step 3: Build Your Automation
Back in Zapier:
- Trigger a test event (e.g. register a player)
- Zapier will capture the incoming data
- Add an Action step (e.g. Google Sheets, Slack, email, CRM)
- Map the fields from Monster Leaderboards
- Turn your Zap ON
You now have a fully automated workflow 🎉
Zapier Webhook vs Generic Webhook
Monster Leaderboards offers two webhook options depending on your setup:
Zapier Webhook
- Designed specifically for Zapier
- Simple setup with guided flow
- Ideal for no-code users
- Works seamlessly with “Catch Hook”
Generic Webhook
- A raw webhook endpoint for developers or advanced setups
- Works with any service (e.g. Make.com, custom APIs, webhook.site)
- Full flexibility for custom integrations

Included Fields:
